My Dutch Uncle Staff Expands

March 23rd, 2012

by Spencer Doyle

Over the last few months, the My Dutch Uncle team has nearly doubled in size, with new hires and veteran associates joining the staff. Long-time associate and finance guru Janet Smith has been named Controller, and grant writer Cristina Bailey also transitioned from associate to the post of Manager, Research & Grant Writing, and Publications Editor. (Cristina changed her name as well—some clients know her as Cristina Williams—and took a short break from her duties to get married in January!)

Rebecca Simonitsch joined My Dutch Uncle in September 2011, bringing broad experience in development and clinical work for nonprofits. In her work at the company, she supports the Institute on Aging with event planning, database management, annual appeal, and with underwriting committees. In March 2012, the staff welcomed Spencer Doyle, a recent Cal Berkeley graduate with an already impressive background in nonprofits, managing fundraising, events, and volunteers, and developing effective leadership for several student-run nonprofits. As Czar of Social Media, Spencer will focus on developing the company’s social media presence while providing support for My Dutch Uncle’s president and CEO.

These talented and dedicated employees are enlarging My Dutch Uncle’s capacities to serve nonprofits around the Bay Area and beyond.

Spencer Doyle is Czar of Social Media at My Dutch Uncle.
